At the Pakistan-China Trade and Investment Forum held on April 27-28, Sino-Pakistan Energy Investment (Suzhou) Co., Ltd., the company’s shareholding company, and China Power Construction Group International Engineering Co., Ltd., and the Energy Development Agency of Pakistan’s KP Provincial Government discussed 260MW Jamshill Turen More and 350MW Turen More Kari Hydropower Project signed a tripartite cooperation development framework agreement.

The forum was hosted by the Ministry of Commerce of Pakistan. Zhang Chunxian, member of the 19th Central Committee and Vice Chairman of the 13th National People’s Congress, Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan, Pakistani Ambassador to China Masood Khalid, and Minister of Foreign Affairs Makdumshah •Mr. Mehmoud Qureshi attended the conference and delivered a speech. Sazib Schrazz, vice chairman of the Pakistan Business Council, gave a speech on "Business Opportunities between China and Pakistan". Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan Yao Jin and some entrepreneurs from Pakistan and China attended the conference.
